A successful auction is won before the event ever starts. That's the belief Kent B. Smith runs his business on. As a Licensed Texas Auctioneer, Kent specializes in benefit and charity auctions for nonprofits, schools, churches, and youth organizations, running about fifty events a year for audiences of 250 to 300 people.
The real work happens long before the gavel comes down. It starts with a discovery call, moves into a proposal, and then into the planning phase, where Kent consults with executive directors, board members, and event committees on item procurement, event sequencing, and the run of show. That's where the story your audience will hear gets built.
